[align=center][font=Comic Sans MS]1985年便成军的[size=15pt][color=yellow][b]Goo Goo Dolls[/b][/color][/size]以原始的团名The Sex Maggots加上原始鼓手George Tutuska在各个俱乐部中以专门翻唱别人作品的摇滚团四处走唱。很快的他们于97年被一家专门出版重金属摇滚的厂牌Metal Blade签入旗下发行首张同名专辑，陆续的在87-90年间发行了三张专辑，直到93年的专辑「Superstar Car Wash 」的发行，终于以一支进驻现代摇滚榜单曲"We Are The Normal"打开知名度，也获得乐界一致好评，日益成熟的作品，更加流畅的旋律让95年的第五张专辑不但销售一举大破两百万张，单曲"Name"更是挺进流行单曲榜Top 5，此时原鼓手George Tutuska求去换上新任鼓手Mike Malinin接着他们整装再出发，继续绽放灿烂火花，发行了他们于乐坛中立下的新里程碑专辑「Dizzy Up The Girl」辑中一曲为电影『Ｘ情人』所谱写的作品[size=13pt][color=red][b]Iris[/b][/color][/size]不但稳坐点播榜18周冠军，更入围41届葛莱美最佳「年度唱片」、「年度歌曲」及「最佳流行演唱团体」三项大奖提名，整个90年可说是[size=13pt][color=yellow][b]Goo Goo Dolls[/b][/color][/size]开花结果丰收的年代。 [/font][/align][align=center]
